The nights are getting longer and the veil is getting thinner, can you feel it? In Celtic tradition, the celebration of Samhain (or Halloween, as we might know it) is a very sacred time of year. It is believed that during Samhain, the spirits of those who have passed could return to the mortal realm to visit. Bonfires were lit to guide them on their way, as their loved ones are able to communicate with them and send them blessings.
